Nueva Comunidad is an open and affirming Progressive Christian Church. Our main goals are:

  1. To provide an inclusive worship space, in English and Spanish, where all feel welcome
  2. To educate the Latin-American community about the cultural and historical context of scripture to better apply it to modern times
  3. To help the marginalized community heal emotionally and spiritually from misunderstandings / mistreatment

OUR VISION IS TO BE AN INCLUSIVE CHURCH THAT LOVES ALL PEOPLE, SHARES THE TEACHINGS OF JESUS, AND SERVES THE COMMUNITY

Every Thursday at 8 pm (EST), we host a Prayer Night or Bible Study via Zoom. To join, click here.
Every week we meet in person at 10 am (EST) in partnership with Winter Park Christian Church for a traditional English service. Recordings of the sermon will be posted online in English and in Spanish as well. We hope to see you soon!
We plan to have Support Groups, Bible Studies, and Discipleship Classes in the future. More details regarding dates, times, and how to sign up will be provided soon!
In the past, we have hosted a Harvest Festival, Family Self-Care Day, and picnics. We will announce future events as they are scheduled!
Emergency Food Program: This is a one-time application to receive a gift card for groceries in the mail. To apply, please email nuevacomunidadcc@gmail.com
